Mohamoud
Ismail Mohamed was born in Kismayo, Lower Jubba, Somalia and
Immigrated to United States in the late 1990’s. He is the
Founder and the Executive Director of St. Cloud Area Somali Salvation
Organization ( SASSO) which was founded in 2001.
Mohamoud I. Mohamed has been involved with new American for much of his time in the United States: the Agency he directs serves exclusively new Americans through social services.
Mohamoud I. Mohamed has a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration. He also has several certifications including a Mini-MBA for non-profit management from the University of St. Thomas. Mohamoud I. Mohamed is the recipient of several awards for his work with new Americans including the Carter Partnership Award, Awesome Man among Women form Among Women Magazine.
He is also a member of Tri-Cap board of directors, CreateCommUnity Steering Comittee and a member of many committees in the St. Cloud area involved in new Americans issues.
